Joanna Nahorska

Joanna first discovered yoga in her early uni days almost twenty years ago, but it wasn’t until 2018 - while living and working in Nepal -when the practice really began to resonate with her. Through regular yin sessions, she learned how the body can be a safe space, and how yoga can quietly support healing. After years in humanitarian and human rights work, a number of retreats, and countless hours on the mat, Joanna trained with Bruce Chung and Rebecca Hajek; she’s also completed a yin yoga training with Jo Phee. Docked in Belgium, she now teaches at the House of Yoga and the Free University of Brussels' sports programme. Joanna’s classes blend playful flow and storytelling, inviting gentle introspection and softness. Born Polish and Greek at heart, off the mat, Joanna is a proud hoomum of a dog and cat duo.
Yinyasa – A gentle offering where one shape seamlessly blends into another, guiding you on a journey that honors your unique structure and meets you where you are. Rooted in the theme of coming home to your body and the grounding essence of nature, this practice incorporates sequential passive stretches targeting the often-overlooked connective tissues: fascia, joints, and ligaments.
