Maria Mantzorou is a Clinical Dietician-Nutritionist. In 2009 she started her degree at the Harokopio University, Department of Dietetics and Nutrition Science. She continued her studies at the King's College London and in 2014 she completed her Master of Science degree in Nutrition (MSc Nutrition). Since 2016, she is a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the University of the Aegean. In 2018 she completed her studies at the Greek Center for Education & Treatment of Eating Disorders and received the diploma of “Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders and Obesity”.

During her studies at the Harokopio University she worked at the Panhellenic Association of Dietitians and Nutritionists, at the General Military Hospital of Athens 401 and at the Association of Agricultural Cooperatives of Lesvos. As part of her postgraduate studies at King's College London, she was scientifically involved in the dietary care of cancer patients and her Doctoral Thesis deals with the importance of nutrition in cancer patients.

She has also completed recognized training seminars on Mediterranean Diet and Food Toxicology.

During her stay in London, she worked for MoreLife UK Ltd. to educate children and parents on child obesity and nutrition. She has also worked as a researcher in the «Children's Food Campaign», and has taken part in the committees of the Parliament of the United Kingdom on child nutrition and obesity.

Since 2014 he has been writing articles for the newspaper «EMPROS» in the column «DIETOlogically», and from 2015 she maintains her Dietician office in Mytilini, Lesvos. (Registered Associate Nutritionist).
